Memphis, Tenn., November 9, 2021 – Varsity Spirit – the global leader in cheerleading, dance team and band apparel, camps and competitions, and a division of Varsity Brands, the market leader in team sports, school spirit and achievement recognition – is pleased to announce the development of the United Scoring Partners; a group of nearly 60 brands and independent event producers dedicated to providing customers with one universal score sheet, which results in a more consistent scoring and judging experience.
The United Scoring Partners will implement best practices, share ideas, and invest in educational resources to arm gym owners, coaches, and athletes to be prepared to compete on the same score sheet throughout their competition season. All registered judges will have access to the online judges and score sheet training.
“We are excited about the development of the United Scoring Partners, as it leads to more consistency, better experience and overall safety”, explains Bill Seely, President of Varsity Spirit. “Each scoring partner shares the same value that athlete safety comes first, and by utilizing one score sheet throughout the course of a competition season, this helps coaches and gym owners across the country build consistency in their skills across categories and focus solely on their athletes’ progress.”
In addition to the Varsity All Star event brands, the following USASF Member Event Producers have signed on to be a United Scoring Partner for the 2021 – 2022 season:
