HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) – The Hubbard Eagles mascot won a competition in Walt Disney World on Saturday.
The competition, organized by Varsity Brands, gave away $100,000 across 25 category awards. Hubbard Eagles mascot Isaac Powell won first place in the Mascot category, taking home $3,000 for the school.
Money from the award will go to mascot costume improvements.
The other three finalists in the category were AJ Crowder from Greenbrier High School in Tennessee, Mikey McKibben from Aquilla High School in Texas and Seth Moyers from Fayetteville High School in Tennessee.
Varsity Brands gave away a $25,000 grand prize to America’s Most Spirited High School.
