Dallas, Texas, January 4, 2018 – Varsity Brands, the leading company that empowers young people through sport, spirit and achievement, today announced that Drillstack will be the exclusive Presenting Sponsor for the Varsity Brands School Spirit Awards for the next three years. The Varsity Brands School Spirit Awards were created to recognize and celebrate schools, school groups and individuals across the country who go the extra mile to build school pride, student engagement and community spirit.  Research has affirmed that students with school spirit perform better academically, are more socially and civically engaged, and are happier in general than their less spirited peers.

As part of the sponsorship, Drillstack will present the most prestigious award, America’s Most Spirited High School, at the awards ceremony on May 12, 2018 at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, FL.

Varsity Brands is the recognized leader in team athletic gear, the driving force in cheerleading and dance, and the most trusted name in celebrating student milestones. The company launched the Varsity Brands School Spirit Awards in 2015 after the popularity of its search for America’s Most Spirited High School. There are now a total of 25 categories, including awards for faculty, students and community members.

Submissions for the 2018 Varsity Brands School Spirit Awards open January 10 and close January 23. The School Spirit Awards will distribute $100,000 to the winners across 25 categories.
