A special connection tied to community drives a true homefield advantage, and Varsity Brands teams seek to build each and every day with the communities we serve.

No matter the sport or level of competition, any athlete can tell you how it feels to play well at home in front of friends and families. There’s a special connection that drives a true homefield advantage – one that ties back to the community through family, friends and neighbors. It’s why we see college football teams that never seem to lose a home game and wild arena crowds that make you wonder how the other team can even think, let alone execute a game plan.

While we don’t operate daily in front of 20,000 screaming fans, our Varsity Brands teams seek to build a similar bond in all the places and communities we support across our business. We take pride in serving with spirit, especially in support of causes that expand access to education and sport and build up our communities. I’m excited to share a few of our highlights from a busy 2025 and celebrate all the teams that worked together to ensure we’re in the game for good.

Every April, our teams focus on service during annual volunteer month and many of us come together to find unique group opportunities across the local communities we serve. 2025 included everything from urban farmwork to celebrating high school students preparing to take their first career steps after graduation. Later in the year, other teams organized drives for food pantries and donated apparel to support neighbors needing everything from basic necessities to apparel for sports leagues that otherwise couldn’t continue playing. We also found fun ways to give back, like dipping, diving, and dodging our way through Vogel’s annual Dodge for a Cause event and so much more.

As a Texas-based company, the devastating flooding in Central Texas on July 4 devastated many of our neighbors and friends. We worked quickly to send more than 70,000 new items to United Way of Central Texas to help those displaced and, through our field sales team, helped Kerrville ISD with a special celebration of the first responders who worked tirelessly during and after the storm to help.

In addition, our longtime partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital continued, highlighted by the official ribbon-cutting for the St. Jude Varsity Brands Play Deck at the Domino’s Village patient housing facility on campus. This space is intended to give patients and their families another place to play, relax and unwind during their visits. It also builds on the many ways we engage with St. Jude as we continue to deepen our nearly 15-year relationship together.

These projects reflect only a fraction of the impact our people make both inside and beyond the office. Our people are truly dedicated to strengthening our communities, driving thousands of hours in service along with other contributions – not because it’s required or even asked of them, but because it’s a key part of who we are.
