EDUCATOR EMPOWERMENT SUMMIT

Thank you for participating in the 2023 Educator Empowerment Summit. We invited every adult working with school-age students to join us for an opportunity to plan, study, and grow together for the 2023-24 school year.

This professional development event featured conference-style presentations from Collective Partners as well as roundtable discussions and interactive breakout rooms.

We explored the current state of mental health in our schools, worked together to identify needs, and discovered new solutions for students, teachers, coaches, support staff, administrators, and parents.

WHY PARTICIPATE?

During last year’s summit, educators had the opportunity to have their voices heard. Over 100 educators made purposeful requests for the following support and resources:

  • More virtual professional development events
  • A student-focused virtual event flexible enough for all schools to participate
  • Proactive mental health resources
  • Adult mental health resources
  • More mental health professional development options

Partners of The Collective responded over the past 12-months. Hundreds of educators have participated in our live and virtual professional development events. More than 30,000 students participated in the Student Empowerment Summit. The Collective continues to expand with more partners and more free resources.
